Datos curiosos: En la famosa escena del bote y la lluvia, Allie no estaba usando zapatos porque literalmente se deshicieron con el agua, esto debido a que tanto el calzado como muchas de las delicadas prendas que se utilizaron, realmente pertenecieron a la época de los años 40. La historia realmente está parcialmente inspirada en los abuelos de la ex esposa del escritor de la novela, Nicholas Sparks. Si te incomoda admitir que ésta es una de las cintas que te convierte los ojos en lagunas... Entonces te tranquilizará saber que, la mismísima Rachel McAdams, (Allie) también lloró mares tras terminar de leer el guion. 
Escena romántica favorita: "Si tú eres un pájaro, yo soy un pájaro"... creo que aquella icónica frase resume el porque me resulta tan preciada esa escena, ha... Aunque la ya mencionada, secuencia del "besuqueo" apasionado bajo la lluvia, también es de las mejores en esta hermosa y nostálgica cinta.

Fun facts: In the famous scene of the boat and the rain, Allie was not wearing shoes because they literally fell apart with the water, this happened, because the footwear and many of the delicate garments that were used, really belonged to the time of the 1940's. The story is actually partially, inspired by the ex-wife grandparents of the novel's writer, Nicholas Sparks'. If it bothers you to admit that, this is one of the films that turns your eyes into "rivers" ... Then it will make you feel better to know that, Rachel McAdams herself, (Allie) also cried seas after reading the script. 😭
Favorite romantic scene: "If you are a bird, I am a bird" ... I think that iconic phrase sums up why that scene is so precious to me, has ... Although the aforementioned sequence of the passionate "kissing" under the rain is also one of the best in this beautiful and nostalgic film.

Datos curiosos: Lynn Scott obtuvo un Premio de la Academia por mejor vestuario. La diseñadora reveló que su favorito había sido el conjunto de saco y falda rayada con el que Rose sube al Titanic, sobre todo por aquel enorme y hermoso sombrero, el cual era un símbolo de opulencia y clase. James Camerón, el director, estuvo también muy involucrado en la construcción de las prendas que Kate Winslet utilizaría, sobre todo durante el hundimiento de la embarcación, ya que quería un vestido que luciera estético y etéreo tanto fuera del agua, como dentro, por ello el vestido final (en el cual yo me inspiré para el look de día) estaba hecho con tantas capas de chifón y no era uno ceñido y rígido como el resto de los atuendos que usa Rose al principio de la cinta. Además a Camerón le gustó tanto el resultado final, que le ofreció un gran protagonismo a dicha prenda, en una toma slow motion, donde Rose y Jack van corriendo se ve la "cola" del vestuario flotando en el aire, capturando así, la gran delicadeza y caída de la tela. Kate Winslet confirmó en una entrevista, que debido a su enorme deseo por conseguir el papel protagónico, inmediatamente después de hacer el casting, le envió rosas al camerino de Camerón (ha,eso sonó algo "trabalenguoso" ) y en la nota adjunta escribió: "From your Rose"... ...¡Qué tal esa Kate!!! Bien listilla y aplicada! 
Escena romántica favorita: "Si tu saltas yo salto, ¿cierto?" ... Otra de las escenas que se resumen en una frase... Y es que no hay nada más romántico que ver aquella secuencia en la cual Rose mira descorazonada a Jack, mientras a ella la van bajando en el bote, a sabiendas de que, aunque ya se encontraba "a salvo", cabía la probabilidad de que, al separarse de él, nunca volvería a verlo y que quizás, ese seria el último momento que habría pasado a su lado... Por lo que ya desesperada, prefiere abandonar su propia seguridad y a su familia para literalmente lanzarse a los brazos de su amado... (Bueno, más bien se lanza de regreso al Titanic y queda colgada cual piñata, antes de ser ayudada por la gente para que no se nos matara, pero se escuchaba más mono si lo escribía así, ha).
4.Rose Dawson from Titanic

Fun Facts: Lynn Scott won an Academy Award for best costume. The designer revealed that her favorite had been the striped jacket and skirt set with which Rose get inside the Titanic, especially for that huge and beautiful hat, which was a symbol of opulence and class. James Camerón, the director, was also very involved in the construction of the garments that Kate Winslet would use, especially during the sinking of the boat, since he wanted a dress that looked aesthetic and ethereal both out of the water, and in, therefore the final dress (which I was inspired by) was made with so many layers of chiffon and was not a tight and rigid one like the rest of the outfits that Rose wears at the beginning of the film. In addition, Camerón liked the final result so much, that he "offered" a special tiny part to this garment, in a slow motion shot, where Rose and Jack are running, the "tail" of the wardrobe is seen floating in the air, capturing the great delicacy and drape of the fabric. Kate Winslet confirmed in an interview that due to her enormous desire to get the leading role, immediately after casting, she sent roses to Cameron's dressing room, and in the attached note she wrote: "From your Rose" ... 😉 Nice one Kate!!! Well played! 👏

And there is nothing more romantic than seeing that sequence in which Rose looks at Jack disheartened, while she is being lowered into the boat, knowing that, although she was already "safe", there was a possibility of when she separated from him, she would never see him again and perhaps, that would be the last moment she would have spent by his side ...So she already desperate,prefers to abandon her own safety and her family to literally throw herself into the arms of her loved one ... Datos curiosos: Las bolsas baguette de Fendi que Jenna usa en casi todo el filme, son una especie de guiño hacia la causi-sagrada serie Sex & the city, pues aquellas bolsas eran sumamente utilizadas por nuestra adorada Carrie. 
DeSanto contó a Instyle Magazine que ella empleó colores pastel en los últimos vestuarios de Jenna, para representar la cercanía y el lazo que se iba formando entre ella y Matt, entre más se enamoraba de él, más "dulce" se hacía la paleta de colores en su ropa. Awwww!

Fun facts: The Fendi baguette bags that Jenna uses in most of the film are a kind of a homage to the causi-sacred series Sex & the city, as those bags were used extensively by our beloved Carrie. 😚 DeSanto told Instyle Magazine that she used pastel colors in Jenna's latest costumes, to represent the closeness and bond that was forming between her and Matt, the more she fell in love with him, the more "sweeter" the palette of colors on her clothes. Awwww! 😊
Favorite romantic scene: When Jenna already regrets everything she had done in her "blurry" past, specially not having valued Matty, she goes to his wedding with the intention of get him back, but then Matt explain her, he cannot reciprocate her feelings, (cause he does not intend to betray his still fiancé), however, when he said goodbye to her, finally after years of silence, he confesses: "Jenna ... Datos curiosos: El hermosísimo vestido verde de Cecilia (en el cual yo me inspiré) fue considerado por InStyle Magazine como "El mejor vestido en el cine de todos los tiempos" 
sobrepasando al icónico vestido blanco de Marylin Monroe y al negro ceñido de Audrey Hepburn 
. De acuerdo con el director Joe Wright, el detalle ubicado a la altura del pubis de Cecilia, tipo moño, que lleva aquel vestido verde, es un simbolismo de pureza o virginidad. Asimismo el bello pasador de diamante, en forma de estrella que pertenece a la icónica Casa de Moda Chanel, representa lo "inalcanzable" que Robbie percibía a Cecilia antes de que fuera suya. Los 10 tops y las 4 faldas que se tuvieron que hacer, fueron pintados en 3 diferentes tonos de verdes; la secuencia inicia con un verde más brillante y termina con uno más intenso tipo verde selva. James McAvoy (quien interpreta Robbie Turner) afirmó que "Atonement" cuenta con uno de los mejores guiones que ha leído...Y tiene mucha razón, ¿no? 
Escena romántica favorita: Aquí también tuve un problema para decidirme por una escena de amor "favorita"... Porque de hecho, ésta es una de mis películas favoritas, así que elegí dos... La primera: la sensual escena de la biblioteca... 
en la que Cecilia finalmente le confiesa su amor a Robbie y entonces, él quien también la desea y ama desde hace años se le acerca y la besa tiernamente por primera vez... Luego las cosas se empiezan a poner alguito más "hot" y Uff bueno... total que terminan envueltos en una "apasionada velada"... La segunda es el cierre o final de la cinta... ¡Spoiler alert! si no han visto la peli, mejor no lo lean... Bueno ya les avise...entonces la segunda: Cuando el espectador se entera que ellos en realidad nunca terminaron juntos y felices, ya que ambos habían fallecido en diferentes circunstancias y entonces Briony, la hermana de Cecilia, quien en un inicio fue quien los separó, trata de "darle un final alternativo y feliz" a su historia de amor... Escribiendo en su libro autobiográfico, ese tan esperado reencuentro entre los dos... Finalmente vemos a Robbie y a Cecilia felices, juntos y enamorados; jugando a la orilla del mar, en aquella hermosa playa "Cuckmere Haven"...con la cual, ambos siempre soñaron despiertos... Ahhhhh...

Fun Facts: Cecilia's gorgeous green dress (which I was inspired by) was considered by InStyle Magazine as "The best movie dress of all times" 🙌🏻 surpassing Marylin Monroe's iconic white dress and tight black Audrey Hepburn's. 😱. According to director Joe Wright, the detail of this same garment, located at the height of Cecilia's pubis, like a bow, is a symbolism of purity or virginity. Also the beautiful star-shaped diamond barrette belonging to the iconic Chanel Fashion House, represents the "unattainable" that Robbie perceived Cecilia, before she confessed her feelings towards him. The 10 tops and 4 skirts that had to be made were painted in 3 different shades of green; the sequence begins with a brighter green and ends with a more intense jungle green type. James McAvoy (who plays Robbie Turner) claimed that "Atonement" has one of the best scripts he has ever read ... And he's SO right!!! 🙌🏻👌
Favorite romantic scene: Here I had a little problem deciding for a "favorite" love scene ... Because this is actually one of my favorite movies, so I chose two ... The first: the sensual library scene ... 😏 in which Cecilia finally confesses her love to Robbie and then, he, who also wants her desperately, and has loved her for many years, approaches and kisses her tenderly, for the first time ... Then things start to get a little... "heated up" and Uff 😜 well ... they end up wrapped in a "passionate moment" ... The second is the closing or ending ... Spoiler alert! If you haven't seen the movie, you'd better not read it ... Well, I let you know ... then the second: When the viewer finds out that they never really ended up together, since both had died in different circumstances, so Briony, Cecilia's sister, who in the first place, was the one who separated them, tries to "give them an alternative and happy ending" to their love story ... Writing in her autobiographical book, that long-awaited reunion between the two of them ... 1.Kim Boggs de El joven manos de tijera
Vestuarista: Colleen Atwood
Datos curiosos: De acuerdo con Tim Burton, Wynona Ryder, nunca se sintió "agusto" o conectada con "Kim", su personaje, ya que ella en la secundaria fue atormentada (#altoalbulliyng) por las típicas porristas rubias... Burton añadió que ver a Wyno por el set con semejante peluca rubia y pompones se le hacía de lo más cómico por lo irónico que le resultaba. Caroline Thompson, la guionista y Burton, eran representados por la misma agencia, pero ambos eran considerados demasiado "extravagantes" o "inusuales", en cuanto a sus conceptos y estilismo, asi que cómo nadie sabía dónde ubicarlos y qué tipo de proyectos resultarían mejor para ellos, se les ocurrió mejor presentarlos; el resto es historia... De ahí nació esta mágica sinergia 
Benditos managers, ¿¡verdad!?
Escena romántica favorita: Si existe una película que para mí es la epitome del "romance" ¡es ésta! Pues, ¿qué es más sublime que amar a una persona por quien realmente es, por su esencia y no por su condición o apariencia física...? Edward Scissorhands es mi película favorita pero no sólo romántica, sino en general... Además por si fuera poco, el guión del filme fue escrito en prosa a modo de poema, y por esto, cada secuencia es un gusto para la pupila...Por ello fue tan difícil elegir una sola escena... Pero bueno... Me voy con la escena del cierre, igual que en Atonement... Así que nuevamente Spoiler alert... Kim le dice a Edd que escape a su castillo, pues la gente del pueblo lo cree una especie de "monstruo" o amenaza para ellos, él lo hace y cuando piensa que ya nunca volverá a ver a su amada, ella llega y lo visita una última vez... Pero antes de poder despedirse de él, surge un enfrentamiento con Jim, el ex de Kim, quien lo siguió hasta el castillo para matarlo; Edward se deja golpear y maltratar por Jim sin oponer resistencia, hasta que Kim intenta ayudarlo, pero sólo sale lesionada por el mismo Jim, quien también la agrede... Entonces es ahí cuando Edd ya sin ninguna piedad, lo acuchilla por haber herido al preciado objeto de su afecto... Kim se da cuenta de que todos van a querer hacerle "justicia" a Jim, así que idea un plan para que la gente del pueblo dé a Edd por muerto y lo dejen en paz... Pero antes de alejarse para siempre de él, lo besa tiernamente en los labios, (el único beso que por cierto, Edward recibe en toda su vida), luego le susurra al oído: "Adiós... Te amo". Edd totalmente atónito ante la confesión, abre los ojos de forma incrédula, para luego cerrarlos pacífica y profundamente, haciéndonos notar que aquellas dos palabras, eran las que había querido escuchar toda su vida...

Fun Facts: According to Tim Burton, Wynona Ryder never felt "comfortable" or connected to "Kim," her character, as she was tormented (#stopbulliyng) by the typical blonde cheerleaders in high school ... Burton added that seeing Wyno with such a blonde wig and pompoms made him the most comical thing, because of how ironic it was. Caroline Thompson, the screenwriter and Burton, were represented by the same agency, but both were considered too "extravagant" or "unusual", in terms of their concepts and styling, so how no one knew where to place them or what kind of projects would be better for them, they better introduced each other; the rest is history ... That's where this magical synergy was born 👍😄 Blessed managers, right !?
Favorite romantic scene: If there is a movie that for me is the epitome of "romance", this is it! Well, what is more sublime than loving a person for who he/she really is, for his/her essence and not for his/her physical condition or appearance ...? Edward Scissorhands is my favorite film not only romantic, but in general ... Also, as if that were not enough, the script of the film was written in prose as a poem, and for this reason, each sequence is a pleasure for the pupil ... That's why it was so difficult to choose a single scene ... But hey ... I'm going with the closing scene. So again Spoiler alert ... Kim tells Edd to escape to his castle, because the townspeople believe he is a kind of "monster" or a threat to them, he does it and when he thinks that he will never see his beloved again, she arrives and visits him one last time ... But before being able to say goodbye to him, a confrontation arises with Jim, Kim's ex, who followed him to the castle to kill him; Edward lets himself be beaten and mistreated by Jim without resisting, until Kim tries to help him, but is only injured by Jim himself, who also assaults her ... That's when Edd mercilessly stabs him for having hurt the prized object of her affection ... Sublime or what? 😉

PD: El dibujo de Edward y la postal de "Expiación, deseo y pecado" fueron dibujados y pintados (en acuarela) por mí, la utilería y locaciones también fueron elegidos por mí. ¡Espero les hayan gustado! :)
