Una crítica al puro "Estilo Cinéfilo" : combinando la investigación con el humor ácido. 😁 A film review "Cinephile Style": mixing research with acid humor.😁
Sinopsis:
En 1978, Tim Jenkin y Stephen Lee fueron condenados a 12 y 8 años de cárcel, respectivamente, por el "gravísimo" (#sarcasmo😌) acto de promover los derechos y la vida digna de los sudafricanos que no fuesen blancos... A través de la distribución de panfletos a favor del CNA (Congreso Nacional Africano) prohibido desde los años 60 debido a su oposición contra el 'apartheid' (Sistema de segregación racial sudafricano que en lenguaje afrikáans quiere decir "separación"). Una vez presos, ambos buscarán la forma de (como lo advierte el título) "fugarse de Pretoria" (la prisión de máxima seguridad Sudafricana... y "con más puertas de la historia"😜 ) cueste lo que cueste.
Luchar por la libertad de otros puede costarte la tuya... Esa es la premisa que Fuga de Pretoria (una película basada en hechos reales salidos de la novela "Inside out: Escape from Pretoria Central prison, de Tim Jenkin) maneja de forma formidable.
¿Por qué?...
Pues primero que nada, porque el elenco hace un excelente trabajo de actuación, comenzando por el histrión australiano Mark Leonard Winter (quien encarna magníficamente el papel de Leonard Fontaine) seguido por Daniel Radcliffe y su tocayo Daniel Webber (quienes interpretan a Jenkin y Lee, respectivamente) ambos también destacan por su brillante participación... El trío nos transmite constantemente, sus ganas de querer "cantar Oaxaxa" (o sea de... "y volver, volver, vooooolver."...el estomago😖😵), que vienen a consecuencia de un severo ataque de pánico, cada que pueden ser descubiertos tratando de armar su ingenioso y laborioso plan de huida. Sobre todo Radcliffe, quien definitivamente destaca por la apropiada proyección de dichos sentimientos y el estudiado acento sudafricano que manejó. Es evidente que el británico no sólo pudo "vencer al hechicero mas malvado/obscuro que ha existido" y quien por supuesto "no debe ser nombrado" (😜 broma local) sino qué finalmente también, ha logrado vencer al mismísimo "Harry Potter", una abrumadora imagen, que lo persiguió durante muchos años... Algo sumamente difícil de conseguir... "¡3 hurras por él!" 👏👍💪😁
Por cierto que "Rady" (como yo le digo con muuuuucho cariño 😍) no es ningún novato de los filmes basados o inspirados en hechos reales, en 2013 participó en el filme biográfico "Kill your darlings", en el cual, interpretó al destacado poeta de los años 50, Allen Ginsberg, en 2016 hizo un excelente papel como, Nate Foster, en la cinta "Guerra de Razas/Imperium", (inspirada en el libro del agente del FBI Michael German, quien narra sus anécdotas reales, de cuando se infiltró en un grupo de supremacistas blancos) y en 2017 también protagonizó Jungle, un interesante filme que narra la historia de Yossi Ghinsberg, un joven que se pierde con sus amigos, en la selva amazónica y lucha por sobrevivir hasta su último aliento (otra cinta muy recomendable y palomera por cierto). 👍😉
Regresando al segundo punto de porque vale la pena ver este filme, hablaré sobre cómo Francis Annan (el director) logra jugar con nuestras emociones durante toda la cinta; el trabajo del británico, es realmente sobresaliente; ya que genuinamente nos mantiene al filo de la butaca todo el tiempo... confieso que hace mucho ninguna película me había hecho sentir tan emocionada y preocupada al mismo tiempo. De hecho, debería tener en el promo la siguiente advertencia: "Esta película puede contener escenas que podrían producirte taquicardia crónica y calvicie a corto plazo"... De tantos cabellos que te arrancaras por los nervios. 😱 Además, el ritmo se mantiene no sólo en el suspenso, sino en los moderados y atinados tintes cómicos, los cuales llegan en momentos muy precisos.
Pero sin duda, la razón más valiosa para verla, es la temática que aborda, pues nos recuerda las injusticias derivadas del racismo que pese a la época, desafortunadamente seguimos viviendo... #Blacklivesmatters. 🙏💜👊
En último pero no menos importante, tenemos los mensajes que nos deja: Como demostrar que el trabajo duro y la perseverancia, siempre rendirán sus frutos y en segunda instancia, la persecución de los ideales; pues siempre vale la pena arriesgarse por una gran causa, sobre todo aquella que luche por conseguir igualdad, dignidad, justicia y respeto para TODOS 🙌💜👏...
Incluso si a veces significa sacrificar el cuerpo utilizando rincones muy recónditos...y estrechos... pero muuuy estrechos...😕 para usarlos como "caja fuerte"... ¡Ouch!.😬

Well first of all, because the cast does an excellent job of acting, starting with Australian actor Mark Leonard Winter (who superbly embodies the role of Leonard Fontaine) followed by Daniel Radcliffe and his namesake Daniel Webber (who play Jenkin and Lee, respectively) both also stand out for their brilliant participation ... The trio constantly transmits to us, their desire to "spitting out the truth" ( more like throw up it...😖😵) , which comes as a result of the severe panic attacks, each time they can be caught trying to put together their ingenious and laborious escape plan. Especially Radcliffe, who definitely stands out for the appropriate projection of these feelings and the studied South African accent that he handled. It is evident that the Briton could not only "defeat The Dark Lord" ( the evilest sorcerer that has ever existed) and who of course "must not be named" (😜 local joke) but that he has also finally managed to defeat "Harry BLOODY Potter" himself, an overwhelming image, which haunted him for many years ... Something extremely difficult to achive... Bring on a looooud "hurrah" for him!" 👏👍💪😁

By the way, this is not the first time that "Rady" (as I like to call himngly lovingly 😍) stands out for his histrionic skills, in a film based on real events, in 2017 he also starred in Jungle, an interesting film that narrates the story of Yossi Ghinsberg, a young man who gets lost with his friends, in the Amazon jungle and struggles to survive until his last breath (another highly recommended and thrilling film). 👍😉
Returning to the second point of why this film is worth seeing, I will talk about how Francis Annan (the director) manages to play with our emotions throughout the film; the work of the British, is really outstanding; since it genuinely keeps us on the edge of the chair all the time ... I confess that a long time ago no movie had made me feel so excited and worried at the same time. In fact, it should have on the trailer the following warning: "This movie may contain scenes that could cause chronic tachycardia and short-term baldness" ... Of so much hair that you tear out by nerves. 😱 In addition, the rhythm is kept not only in suspense, but in moderate and wise comic overtones, which come at very precise moments.
But without a doubt, the most valuable reason to see it, is the main topic, because it reminds us of the injustices derived from racism that despite the time, unfortunately we continue to live ... #Blacklivesmatters. 🙏💜👊
Last but not least, we have the messages that it leaves us: How hard work and perseverance will always pay off and, secondly, the pursuit of ideals; Well, it is always worth taking risks for a great cause, especially one that fights for equality, dignity, justice and respect for ALL 🙌💜👏 ...
Even if it sometimes means sacrificing yourself using very narrow ... but veeeery narrow "body parts"... 😕 as a "safe-deposit box" ... Ouch! .😬
