DIY: Top de Lisa 

Materiales: 

-Tela blanca de 1.50 cm de largo y 50 cm de ancho (o un top blanco viejito, que ya no usabas). 

-Pega Diamantina dorada y roja o  diamantina tradicional

-Canutillo negro  (puedes adquirirlo en la Parisina si no tienes o reutilizar el de alguna joya de fantasía que ya no utilices)

-Pegamento para tela tipo silicona 

-Plumón negro indeleble

-Lápiz 

-Regla  

DIY: Lisa's Top

Materials:

-White fabric 59 inches long and 19.6 inches wide (or an old white top, which you no longer used).

-Gold and red glitter paste 

-Black beads or fantasy rhinestones (you can buy them  or reuse a fantasy jewel that you no longer use)

-Silicone fabric glue

-Black indelible down

-Pencil

-Rule

Paso 1:

Toma la tela, extiéndela en una superficie plana y dóblala a la mitad de lo ancho, es decir que ahora debe medir 25 cm de ancho. Ahora toma la regla o una cinta métrica y ubícala en la mitad del largo, es decir 75 cm. 

Step 1:Take the fabric, lay it out on a flat surface, and fold it in half the width, so it should now be 9.8 inches wide. Now take the ruler or a tape measure and place it in the middle of the length, that is 29.5 inches.

Paso 2: Una vez que tengas bien ubicado el centro de la tela hacia lo largo, comienza a dibujar con ayuda de la regla y el lápiz, el número 24, si no sabes dibujar, utiliza alguna plantilla para guiarte.

Step 2:  Once you have the center of the fabric well located along the length, start drawing with the help of the ruler and pencil, the number 24, if you do not know how to draw, use a template to guide you.

Paso 3: Utiliza el plumón para remarcar el contorno del número.

Step 3:Use the marker to highlight the outline of the number.

Paso 4: Toma la pega diamantina o el pegamento y la diamantina dorada tradicional y comienza a colocarla con cuidado sólo en el contorno. Espera 1 hora a que seque si empleaste pega diamantina, si usaste la tradicional puedes fijarla primero con alguna laca para el cabello; luego déjala secar por medio día.

Step 4:Take the fabric glue and the gold glitter paste and  begin to gently apply it only to the outline. Let it dry for half a day and then fix it with a hairspray. 

Paso 5: Ahora rellena todo con la pega diamantina roja o el pegamento para tela y la diamantina tradicional. Para evitar que la pega diamantina traspase la tela de atrás y la manche, toma un cartón y colocarlo en medio de ambas partes. Espera a que seque todo el día para óptimos resultados. También puedes usar laca para fijar. 

Step 5: Now fill the rest with the fabric glue and the red glitter paste. To prevent the glue from penetrating the back fabric and staining it, take a piece of cardboard and place it between both parts. Wait for it to dry all day for best results. You can also use hairspray to set.

Paso 6. Si quieres puedes darle un plus a tu top, añadiéndole canutillo negro al rededor, realmente se ve divino, pero te advierto que sí es un poco más trabajoso; si quieres que tu top dure mucho tiempo intacto, deberás coser cada uno de los canutillos, ya que incluso con pegamento para tela, podrían caerse por el uso. Pero si sólo lo quieres para un par de días y no te importa que se puedan caer después, entonces sigue estos pasos: primero coloca el pegamento para tela con ayuda de un palillo. Luego toma un hilo tipo plástico o el que tengas y coloca los canutillos necesarios en este, ahora colócalo con cuidado en el contorno con el  pegamento, una vez alineando y fijado, retira el hilo, repite el procedimiento en cada lado del número. Espera a que seque bien todo el día. 

Step 6: If you want, you can add a plus to your top, adding black beads or fantasy rhinestones around it, it really looks divine, but I warn you that it is a bit more laborious; If you want your top to last a long time intact, you will have to sew each of the beads, due to even with fabric glue, they could fall off with the use. But if you only want it for a couple of days and you don't mind that it might fall off afterward, then follow these steps: First apply the fabric glue with the help of a toothpick. Then take a hemp thread or whatever you have and place the necessary beads in it, now carefully place it on the contour with the glue, once aligning and fixed, carefully remove the thread, repeat the procedure on each side of the number. Wait for it to dry all day. 

Paso 7. Ya que verifiques cuidadosamente que todo está bien seco, prepárate para usarlo. Como esta versión del top es strapless y el de Lisa tiene mangas cortas, te sugiero que, al igual que yo, utilices un top blanco con mangas cortas por debajo de éste. Recuerda hacer un nudo bien apretado para que no se caiga y ¡listo! 

Step 7: Once you carefully check that everything is dry, get ready to use it. Since this version of the top is strapless and Lisa's has short sleeves, I suggest that you, like me, wear a white top with short sleeves underneath. Remember to tie a tight knot so that it does not fall and voila!

NOTA: Recuerda que la diamantina y el canutillo sin cocer son muy frágiles y se pueden caer con el paso del tiempo, así que deberás cuidar mucho tu top: -Utiliza una cajita de cartón para guardarlo (puede ser reciclada de algún regalo que te dieron). Procura no usarla frecuentemente para que no tengas que lavarla y si realmente lo necesita, porque tiene alguna mancha, no utilices lavadora ni la laves a mano, mejor usa  un cepillo de dientes  y jabón suave para deshacerte de las manchas. 

NOTE: Remember that the glitter paste and the non-sewn beads are very fragile and can fall off over time, so you must take good care of your top: 

-Use a cardboard box to store it (it can be recycled from a gift someone gave you). -Try not to use it frequently so that you do not have to wash it and if you really need it, because it has a stain, do not use a washing machine or wash it by hand, better use a toothbrush and mild soap to get rid of stains.
